Diagnostic Tool installed with Fingerprint SDK 2009 for Java not working.

I have just downloaded and installed the latest version of Fingerprint SDK 2009 for Java.  The Diagnostic tool does not work.  When I open it from the tray icon I get a dialog that displays "Error".  When I acknowledge that dialog the System Diagnostic window is displayed but there is no information available.  The Diagnostic tool did work on the previous version I had downloaded some time in 2009.

Dear customer,

I got the same error. I'll be checking what can this be.

I ask your patience.

Hello

Any follow up on this?  It seems that this version of Finderprint SDK 2009 for Java does not work at all.  The sample applications and my application all get "licence errors".

Please help.  My system that was working is now not working.

Thanks

Richard

Hello,

In my case the license downloaded from the Web is recognized and validated for 30 days, but never fires the event onFingerDown ().
Context starts successfully.

I Define system environment variable BIO_PATH = "C: \ carpeta_licencia \."
To start the context I do System.getenv (BIO_PATH ") for the folder where the license.

I'm working with:
- Windows Vista 32-bit
- Netbeans 6.9 (not installable)
- Jdk 6u20
- Digital Persona U.are.U 4000
Griaule_installer_2009.exe-use (no use Griaule_java_installer_2009.jar because I had problems with casting and using interfaces.) This implies that the Grfingerprint.jar use the jdk and not the grfingerprint.jar.
Someone knows how to solve this problem, ie, why not fire the event onFingerDown ()?
Thanks.

Hello Dave.st1,
The code is similar, the context is started successfully. Even at times the reader reads the fingerprint, and I did that once identified, but when I turn off my PC and then turn it on, no longer works (and to avoid errors, do not install any software or update the OS.) I also reinstalled the OS on three occasions, to make sure no errors in installation.
Use:
- Windows Vista (32 bit - Spanish)
- Using netbeans 9.6 (not installable)
- JDK 1.6 u 20
- Digital Persona U.are.U 4000

I comment as I proceeded:
- Run Fingerprint_SDK_2009_Installer.exe (or Fingerprint_SDK_Java_2009_Installer.jar)
- Copy "C: \ Program Files \ Griaule \ Fingerprint SDK 2009 \ bin \ grfingerprint.jar" to "C: \ Program Files \ Java \ jdk1.6.0_20 \ jre \ lib \ ext \" (also copied to "C: \ Program Files \ Java \ jre6 \ lib \ ext ")

From here just use the ide, and the license recognizes me without problems. But when putting the finger on the reader ... nothing. A red light flashes, when you put your finger on the reader.
There is some log I can see?
Regards,
From already thank you very much.

Uso:
- Window Vista (32 bits - Español)
- Uso netbeans 9.6 (no instalable)
- JDK 1.6 u 20
- Digital Persona U.are.U 4000

Te comento como procedí:
- ejecute Fingerprint_SDK_2009_Installer.exe (o Fingerprint_SDK_Java_2009_Installer.jar)
- Copié "C:\Program Files\Griaule\Fingerprint SDK 2009\bin\grfingerprint.jar" a "C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.6.0_20\jre\lib\ext\" (tambien copie en "C:\Program Files\Java\jre6\lib\ext")

De aqui solo uso la ide, y la licencia me la reconoce sin problemas. Pero al posar el dedo sobre el lector...nada. Una luz roja se enciende y apaga, cuando coloco el dedo en el lector.
Existe algun log que pueda ver?
Saludos,
Desde ya muchas gracias.

Richard, what are you using to install the licenses?

Sergio, try to compare your app with our sample. You must be forgetting something, or your change of installer made this error.

Try to verify this.

I'm waiting for your reply.

Hello Davi

You are right.  It is working if I install the right license.  The problem is still that the Diagnostic Tools does not work (see my first post) so it is difficult to know what license to install, and impossible on a new PC.

Hello Richard,

Thank you for report this issue with the Diagnostic Tool. It`s really not working. I reported it to the Development sector and they'll solve this issue in the next update.
