Griaule dependency on DP in MS fingerprint reader

Hi all,

Just downloaded the GrFinger SDK, and after a brief look on the
documents I was unable to find out, what I'm actually working on.

I Have MS Fingerprint Reader and DP's drivers. The installation
guide says to install DP's drivers (Password Manager) first. This
would indicate that GrFinger uses the MSFP through DP's drivers?

And this brings about another thing is the saved encrypted image
(in free and light versions) just for motivating the Full version, or
are they actually the encrypted images straight from DP's drivers?

I believe the SDK uses the MSFP Reader through DP drivers, otherwise it doesn't make sense requiring installing such software. Yet, if you uninstall DP Password Manager, the samples stop working with MS FP Reader.

I think the encrypted image is just for motivating the full version. Reason 1: the full version has no encryption in the images, but it reads encrypted BMP images (or at least, should, since Griaule states that the 3 versions are compatible). Reason 2: DP FP Readers are the only that have encrypted images, and GrFinger works with some other FP Readers too, that have no encryption.

Just my 2c to an old thread. :)
