Question about template consolidation

Dear

I have tried the consolidate sample on c# and it works just perfect. What will happen if user try to input differnt finger into consolidation process? Say like right thumb for 3 times, lef thumb for 1 thumb and different person thumb for another time. Which fingers will dominate on verification process?

How can I prevent this situation to happen?

Thank you very much

Dear customer,

The fingerPrint SDK identify the person through the minutiae of finger.
You can put the finger of different forms in the reader , but you have to put teh same finger you registered.
If you try register differents fingers the sdk get error and not complete the register.
We recommends you use right thumb or the index finger for register.

Any doubt do not hesitate in contact us.

Best regards ,

Dear customer,

This should be controlled by the person registering to avoid registers with this issues.
Have in mind that if a register is made this way, the fingerprints will not be identified because the template will have informations from two fingers, while the finger will have only it's own minutiae.

Best regards,
