User isn't identified

Problem: The user is not being identified by GrFinger Desktop Login.

Error message(s): "Fingerprint not found. Please, try again."

Solution:

  1. Log in to Windows as system administrator. Use the standard username and password login procedure if necessary.
  2. Start GrFinger Desktop Login Manager. (Go to GrFinger Desktop Login folder at Start Menu and then, click on GrFinger Desktop Login Manager.)
  3. Select the user who is having trouble logging in.
  4. Click Edit.
  5. Click Reacquire Fingerprints. Please, read "Adding a user" steps 3 and 4 for further information on how to acquire fingerprints.
  6. Click on Edit to conclude the task.
