When you start the program, an icon will appear in your Windows notification area, next to the system clock. Click it with the right button to open the menu and then click on the item "Register a new fingerprint".

After that a registration wizard will start and conduct the user until the enrollment is completed. The welcome window above will be shown.

Initially, you will be asked to choose between a registration of a new person and his/her fingers, or a registration of a new finger that belongs to a person already registered in the database. (each person may have all his/her fingers enrolled or even just one)

If you choose to register a new person, the dialog above will appear. Type the name of the person that is being registered.

Then, choose the finger you will enroll. If you want to delete an already enrolled fingerprint, just click on an already marked finger in the dialog. (to delete already enrolled users, open the item "Manage database" in the menu)

Hold the selected finger on the reader. You need to do it three times. The best quality image will be selected to be stored in the database.

If you are registering a new person, this screen will appear. Here, you will register the person's ID. Later, when this person touches the reader, his ID will be sent to the keyboard, to the clipboard or to the Desktop Identity's punch log. It can be a code (like a client ID in a movie rental system) or just a name, without accentuated characters.

Finally, click 'Yes' to register another fingerprint from the same person or 'No' to end the registration. If you want to register another person, just click "No" and just start the process again.
