For Microsoft and Digital Persona devices, Griaule uses its own driver, FingerCap USB Driver 2.0.
The current supported devices are:
- Microsoft Fingerprint Reader
- Bio-I Cyte
- Microsoft Wireless IntelliMouse Explorer with Fingerprint Reader
- Microsoft Optical Desktop with Fingerprint Reader
The current supported operating systems are (32 bits):
- Windows Vista
- Windows Server 2003
- Windows XP Professional
- Windows XP Home Edition
- Windows XP Media Center Edition
- Windows XP Tablet PC Edition
- Windows 2000 (Service Pack 2 or later recommended)
- Linux
We do not support:
- 64-bits versions of the operating systems above
- Windows 98 (the first version)
