Nitgen Hamster + Windows 7 (64 bit)

I have begun to test GrFinger and check that works well. However, has anyone actually run the sdk 2009 + Nitgen Hamster I in Windows 7 64 bits.?

I was able to check the following:

  • Installed and running the latest driver Nitgen v.3.05 (32bit & 64bit): the diagnostic application that includes (NFD.EXE) works perfectly, capturing the fingerprint without any problems.
  • No problems running FingerprintNetSample.exe. However, it is unable to communicate with the scanner (remains off). If I use the menu option "load image", I see the fingerprint and I can extract the minutiae.

Any solution? (For me it is essential that work on Windows 7 64-bit).

Regards.

Hello. Same problem here. (SDK 2009).

My device is the HFDU01-1.

My SO: Windows 8 Enterprise x64.

NFD.EXE works fine.

FingerprintSDKDemo.exe works perfectly.

But the device won't blink red to read the finger, or detect a finger presence. Other devices works fine, my trouble is just with this one.

I've been digging the forum for an answer, but nothing has helped me so far.
